Monitoring general websites

Recently we found evaluation users monitoring URLs like yahoo, google etc. This could cause overloading of these public domains by our servers and affects our monitoring capability too.

Our robo code will identify those URLs and suspend monitoring with in next 24 hours. Also we will suspend monitoring of the URLs in the following cases :

1. URLs are associated with an invalid email id (meaning these mail ids bounce). The reasoning is anyway we will not be able to notify these users when the website goes down.

2. EMail ids that have not been confirmed after account creation within 5 days by clicking the link in the account creation confirmation email.

So dont be surprised if you find monitoring in your account are suspended. We also recommend that you donot add these in future.
