imagine i have status pages for individual customers.
Then I have central services - such as telecommunications - that are also used by all customers.
Now I don't want to have to add this "telecommunications" component for each individual status page of a customer, but only deposit the central component once on a "global" status page (call it for example "common IT services" or global components) and report about it.
Then it would be very helpful if you can inherit this central component on the other indivual customer status pages. This means that I can report this component at a central point and the status would also be changed automatically on the corresponding status pages of the customers.
