As I understand it, there is such a feature but it's part of the Zoho system and not available as a stand a lone for Site24x7.
Morning Daniel,
Had a follow-up note for this:
When adding SSO/SAML it would be great to be able to manage the accounts via customer account management utilities so that:
1.) Accounts are created automatically in Site24x7 via the customer account management utilities
2.) Permissions are controlled via the customer account management utilities
3.) Accounts are removed automatically in Site24x7 via the customer account management utilities
Also, would be great that when attempting to login via auth controllers like OKTA, you are logged into Site24x7 instead of being sent to the Zoho dashboard and having users try to find Site24x7 then being sent back tot he login page to sign in all over again.
If you want to discuss this more, I'd be happy to get on a call.
Reading through the documentation I noticed this: "SAML is supported for paid organizations, which host their domain through Zoho Mail"
Will we need to register our email service through Zoho? We currently use Google Apps for all the related services particularly email.
Under the dashboard at https://mail.zoho.com/cpanel/index.do#samlauthentication I created an email account to use but I'm not clear how to tie the settings so it sends the user to Site24x7.
Also, we just started using Okta and they have a Zoho app, would we be able to use that to connect?
Enter your organization's domain name, present in Zoho. For example, if your Zoho SAML Endpoint URL is https://accounts.zoho.com/samlresponse/acme, enter acme
Any more info on this? Specifically to the last note:
We were trying to see if we can use the Zoho Accounts app in OKTA and it's asking for the following:
Enter your organization's domain name, present in Zoho. For example, if your Zoho SAML Endpoint URL is https://accounts.zoho.com/samlresponse/acme, enter acme
As per the update form the Zoho accounts team, we need to have an active mail account to use the SAML authentication. Further, for using SAML based authentication, either should have verified domain or portal URL. You can create a free account with Zoho mail and create a domain.
Please check and let us know if you have any questions.
Regards,
Daniel Ceasar Paul, J

Dear Guest,
Please provide more details on your requirements. Are you looking for integration options with Site24x7 or do you want to setup SAML SSO with Site24x7? For setting up SAML authentication, here are couple of links to get started:
https://www.site24x7.com/help/admin/my-account.html#saml-authentication
If any further assistance is required, we would be glad to assist further with the same.
If you are looking for integration, please provide more details on your requirements, so that we can assist further.
Extending on this ask,
It would be great to be able to not have to create accounts in Zoho manually but be able to use our AD account management system as the directory of allowed users.
The current system adds lots of manual work for admins as we have to manually log into Site24x7 to create the account after we've approved the request and then do the same when we have an employee termination.
If Site24x7 could find a way to automate the user creation and removal process with direct integrations like OKTA and ServiceNow. And allow a better login flow other than having to login, be taken to the Zoho control panel then having to search for the Site24x7 icon and then having to log in again at times.
Muralee,
I noticed this in OKTA that does user provisioning.
- Is this something that others can use?
- Is this allowed?
- Can these features be updated to be in the Site24x7/ZOHO provided integration?
