Best practices for log management

When creating a log type, follow the below best practices:

• Set Auto Discovery to "Yes" if you need to collect the same log types from multiple servers.
• Configure the Maximum Upload Limit on the log type page to limit a log type's usage.
• While querying the data, define the data type as "number" for the number fields, and configure units so that you can aggregate the data with proper units.
• Configure the sensitive data to be hashed or masked before being ingested to address security and identity concerns.
